With the rapid development of transportation, some highways have to be constructed along high slopes. Anchor plays an important role in guarantee the slope stability. Reliable anchorages effect is needed to avoid relaxing prestressed for the permanence anchor. Anchorages effect depends on the high strengthen of the steel, lower relaxing stress and advance safety character. Furthermore, anchorages segment should provide higher and stable cohesive strength. Grouting material is very important in guarantee the higher cohesive strength for anchorages segment. In this thesis, amount of polypropylene fibers have been mixed into original mortar. Indoor tests and in situ tests have been performed to find out the suitable ration of the mixture. Observed data imply that this new type of mortars has the characters of higher compressive strengthen and cohesive strengthen. And it can improve the anchorages effect by mending the procedure of deformation and bearing capacity and preventing the crack appeared. Analyzing results show that:Polypropylene fibers mixed into the mortar can improve the cohesive strengthen both between the steel and the grout and between the around rock and anchor. Comparing to the common mortar, the fiber mortar has higher crack resistance and tensile strength.Mixing fibers improve the cohesive strengthen between the mortar and anchor hole. And the cohesive strengthen become higher and higher with time pass by. Since it is easy to mix the polypropylene fibers into mortar, this new type of mortars could be used widely. Polypropylene fibers mortar could be applied in stabilization the rock high slope during constructing the super highway. Mixing fibers into mortars improve the anchorages effect, reduce length of anchor and decline the failure ratio of anchors.
