Since 1990's, Major car companies throughout the world have been attaching more and more importance to application of returns in Man-Machine Engineering , for the goal of enhancing maneuverability and comfortability of car. With the china's entry into WTO, it is of great significance for car companies of our country to pay more attention to harmony within system of vehicle, human and environment, considering the necessary enhancement of their competitive power in the global market. Thanks to the application of computer aided technologies to automobile engineering, it is much less necessary to made full- size model of car between designing phase and production phase, and thus shorten the development cycle of car. On the other hand, the traditional method of Man-Machine designing or evaluation no more adapt to the new development environment of car, which has become a bottleneck of development cycle. The thesis researches on and discusses the theory and implementation of Man-Machine evaluation of car concept designing. A reasonable Man-Machine evaluation model of car concept designing - multi-grade fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model has been set up. The model can deal with impersonal indexes as well as subjective ones, and reflects the fuzziness of human thoughts, and has been one of the most popular models adopted in practice. A evaluation system has been constituted, on the basis of researching on corresponding evaluation contents of car concept designing. The thesis discuss in detail the evaluation relating to driver's vision and occupants' posture which are main contents of Man-Machine evaluation of car concept designing.It is the key for Man-Machine evaluation how to establish a right three-dimensional parametric body model which has only statistical meaning. The thesis concludes the parametric modeling methods in UG. With the tools provided by UG,we can easily produce body models in different percentiles. Furthermore, distributing principle of driver 's eye-points , along with applying rules of eye-points ellipse in different percentiles have been discussed. Another key point is how to combine the human body model and car model organically, which is result of concept design, to carry out Man-Machine evaluation. The thesis discusses in detail how to unite human and machine organically under the guidance of theories in Man-Machine Engineering, National standards or SEA standards by the method of Secondary development based on UG modeling system, in order to fulfilling the Man-Machine emulating measurement.Finally, the application of method mentioned above to practical project has been presented. The practical situation indicate that the method is right and practicable.
