Virtual Manufacturing System Of Auto Panel Based On Design Feature

In the whole automobile manufacturing, Automobile panel modeling technology is one of the key technologies in automobile industry, and automobile panel modeling technology is key to automobile panel manufacturing. The life cycle of panel specially automobile panel ,is the shortest, and it changes quickly. It relates to the quality, appearance , product cost and manufacture and development cycle of automobile components directly. It also is one of the main factors which quicken the updating and improve the competition. Due to automobile panels have many characteristics , such as complicated shape ,larger structure dimensions, high accuracy and strict demand for surface quality .Therefore, The design and manufacture of panel dies are 'bottleneck' for the automobile development.1.Reviewed the development and present situation of the fields correlation, indicating the target and values of the thesis, and stated the chief research content of it.2.The feature, feature representation and mapping technology are researched in this paper. Then the panel product definition model based on feature has been set up. From the point of design and manufacture, the shape features are classed. The presentations of shape feature, material feature, accuracy feature and management feature are researched and fulfilled. The procedure of panel feature modeling is presented.3.The influence of numerical simulation technology on automobile panel modeling has been researched, including the general process of numerical simulation, the mesh generated and the pre-post process. An application case has been presented.4.Based on analysis of the stamping process planning characteristic, the development of Knowledge Based Engineering and the practical application to the design and manufacture of automobile panel has been analyzed. The frame of KBE system of automobile panel has been represented. The knowledge representation has been researched. According to the theory and method of case reasoning ,the CAPP system design model of automobile panel has been set up. The method of implementing case representation and the case library also has been provided.
