In the machinery transmission, the gear transmissions is the most common transmission form. Among them, the circle gear transmission that is a fixed-transmission ratio pair has been used widely. Among weaving machine, instrument industry and light industry machinery, some mechanisms (especially some automatic mechanism) that can realize to variable transmission ratio will be used because of the special request of the craft. The traditional circle gear hardly meet the request of this kind of transmission while noncircular gear transmission can realize present request of movement with its special characteristic in kinematics and geometry. So the noncircular gears get the increasingly extensive application in every kind of machinery. At present noncircular gear's processing method is primarily gear hobbing and gear shaping. There appears some design software of the noncircular gear, but they didn't aim at the craft of non-traditional machining (process of electric spark linear cutting machine) of noncircular gear.This thesis discusses the basic principle of the noncircular gear, and proceeds to the secondary development of AutoCAD by using of the VC++ and the ObjectARX, and realizes non-traditional machining (process of electric spark linear cutting machine) of noncircular gear by ISO and 3B command. It studies the forming process of tooth profile curve of noncircular gear. Furthermore, it conceives and verifies the forming principle and process of tooth profile curve of noncircular gear based on the equal angle of pressure. This paper is divided into totally seven parts- preface, the total design of the system, the mathematics modeling of noncircular gear, the design of CAD system and simulate system, the design of CAM system, the running example, summarization and expectation..The first part-preface detailedly expatiates the research background, meaning and thecurrent research status of the noncircular gear's CAD/ CAM and simulation, and introduced the main task of this paper. The second part, general design of noncircular gear systems (NCG), presents the general structure and division of the NCG and the functions of each part, and introduces the operation environment and the choice of develop tools of NCGThe third part is the mathematics molding of noncircular gears. This part detailedly expatiates the compute method of the pitch curve and the judgment whether the pilch curve is closed; the compute method of the pitch curve's radius and the judgment whether the pitch curve is convex; And emphasizes the form principle of the evolute and involute tooth profile curve. Especially, this paper creatively presents the concept and theory of the equal pressure angle tooth profile curve. The symmetry engagement angle tooth profile curve and dissymmetry engagement angle tooth profile curve and equal pressure angle tooth profile curve are studied emphatically. And this paper presents the judgment whether the pressure angle and engagement factor is beyond the predetermined value.The fourth part is the design of CAD system. This part expatiates the elliptic gear design system and simulate system detailedly, and analyzes and solves the problem met in the process.The fifth division is the design of CAM system. This part introduces, some process methods of noncircular gear. And it expatiates the arc matching of the listing curve and the program of 3B code.The sixth part is the example of the NCGThe last part is the summary of this thesis. It sums up the result of this paper and point out the shortage and the subsequent research content.
