Noncircular gear transmission contains noncircular gearing and noncircular bevel gearing, is an important branch of gear transmission, is characterized by its impact structure, good dynamic equilibration and other advantages, and can be used automobile and engineering machine, ship, tool, aviation and spaceflight field etc.In this paper, gear transmission technique and statics basic theory are used, basic principle and design method of noncircular gear are studied, influences of parameters on kinematics and changing laws of noncircular gear are analyzed, and characteristics of kinematics are achieved; Static mechanics model of noncircular gear is established, calculating formulas of statics parameters are determined, influences of parameters on statics and changing laws of noncircular gear are discussed, statics of noncircular gear and that of cylindrical gear are compared, and characteristics of statics are achieved; Mechanical system dynamic principle and Hertz elastic impact theory are used, virtual simulation technique is applied, virtual experiment model of noncircular gear is established, parameters of the model are determined, virtual experiment is simulated, results of virtual experiment and that of statics are compared, correctness of virtual experiment model is validated, influences of parameters on dynamics and changing laws are discussed, dynamics of noncircular gear is compared with that of cylindrical gear, and characteristics of dynamics are obtained; Elasticity mechanics principle is used, FEM method is applied, FEM model of noncircular gear is established, FEM mode analysis is carried, natural frequencies, mode shapes and changing laws are discussed, natural vibration characters is compared with that of cylindrical gear, and characteristics of natural vibration are obtained.According to transmission theories of cylindrical gearing, noncircular gearing and bevel gearing, a new model gearing transmission——noncircular bevel gearing(ModelⅡ) is brought forward, working principle and design method of noncircular bevel gearing are researched, correct meshing condition is determined, engineering expression is discussed, calculating formulas of kinematics are determined, influences of parameters on kinematics and changing laws of noncircular bevel gearing are discussed, and characteristics is achieved; Modern experiment testing technique is used, experiment scheme and experiment study are carried for noncircular bevel gearing, experiment bench is established, testing data are collected and processed, and are compared with that of theory, results indicate the design method is correct and feasible.Software design technique is applied, VB is used, oval gearing design and oval bevel gearing design is programmed, automatization and visualization are realized, and a useful tool is supplied for engineering application.From analysis of working principle, design method and experiment for noncircular bevel gearing, noncircular bevel gearing(ModelⅡ) can be used to transmit nonlinear ratio rotary motion between two intersecting shaft, and the output is rotary motion and repeating linear motion along driven shaft, and is a kind of composite transmission. Basic theory, design method and experiment method are provided for noncircular gear transmission technique, solid foundation is laid for application extension of new model noncircular gear transmission, so this dissertation has important theoretical and practical meanings.
