Recently, with the improvement of living standard, a sharp increasement can be seen in the consumption of private automobiles. As a result, it has become a big demand to develop the location and guide techniques of automobile. GPS and CDMA provide the solid theoretical foundations of more intelligent location and guide of automobiles. On the other hand, the quick development of large-scale IC technology offers it a convenient platform to develop a new generation of mobile inspection system of automobile and pave the way to produce our system in the real market.Based on CDMA, this dissertation applies GPS and CDMA into location and guide system of automobiles. To begin with, it introduces the survey of modern mobile inspection system and briefly explains all the theories that would be used in the further discussion, especially the CDMA, GPS, USB, CAN and DSP. The dissertation divides the terminal hardware of mobile inspection system of automobile into three parts, which are graph gathering and processing module, CDMA wireless sending and receiving module and the data transmission module of CAN and CDMA. Followed by, combining CDMA with automobile electronics, it proposes a framework of mobile inspection system; put forward the hardware solution of the mobile terminal in system and solves the data transmission problem between DSP graphical processing module and CDMA module. This dissertation emphasizes the CAN techniques and the hardware realization of the wireless transmission module between CAN nodes and CDMA sending and receiving module.
