The Study Of Self-organization Phenomenon In Urban Traffic System

As the national economics rapid developing and cities scale becoming larger and larger, the problems of urban traffic has became more and more serious .How to improve the traffic state is a issue that must be deal with .The description of the regulation and the characters in the urban traffic system is the key to traffic plan and manage. As an useful tool for solving complicated system, self-organization provides utility theory and method for us to research the development in the urban traffic system.Based on the research of plenty of documents and achievements about urban traffic system and the theory of self-organization, the self-organization is applied in this paper. On the explication of the city, this article casts a systematic research on the history of the urban development, and discusses the interactive relationship between the city and the urban traffic, and concludes the lows of traffic development and the different characteristics of the urban traffic in its different stages. After studying the intension of the self-organization and the phenomenon of the self-organization in the urban traffic system, the definition about self-organization of H.Haken, and the analysis of the character of dissipative Structure in the urban traffic system, the author establishes the conception that urban traffic system development is self-organizing. Then the organize mechanism in the road system is discussed and defined as a mechanism which self-organization and the organization complexes. This paper discusses the condition of the traffic flow self-organized.A dissipative Structure model is established and compare with ITS .At last, based on the discuss of the course which self-organization and the organization complexes in urban traffic system, and the analysis of the current situation in traffic plan and management, the question is pointed out . So a mechanism based on the self-organization and the organization complexes in same direction.In a word, the studies of this paper have a profound function to traffic plan and management.
