Seawater hydraulics is a booming high new technology developing at the request of ocean exploitation worldwide in recent years, and is also one of the frontier directions in the field of fluid power. Underwater Hydraulic Tool System (UWTS) driven by seawater hydraulics boasts vast application prospect in ocean exploitation and naval equipment. Because seawater hydraulic pump is an indispensable core component in a seawater hydraulic system, its development has extremely important significance to the development and popular application of the seawater hydraulic technology. And the study about contaminant sensitivity of seawater hydraulic pumps is one of the core technologies about the seawater pumps, so its importance is very obvious.The objective of thesis is he pilot study about the contamination-wearing mechanism of seawater hydraulic pumps, and we, mainly on the condition of using tap water as pump medium in the laboratory, carry out the theory and examination research about the seawater hydraulic piston pump's theory and examination contaminant sensitivity. And achievements in the research are as follows:1) On the basis of summarizing the research achievement about the oil pump's contaminant sensitivity, we take the property of the seawater medium into account carefully and put forward the research idea about seawater pump contaminant sensitivity and its control way.2) We study how to control the solid grain, microorganism and water quality of tap water, and put the research about the solid grain contamination into emphasis.3) Because of the property difference between tap water and mineral oil, traditional Direct Reading Ferrograph and Analytical Ferrograph technology can't be directly applied into tap water pump's contaminant study. So we study how to adjust those ways, so as to make them adapt to tap water pump's contaminant study.4) A large amount of experiments of the wear and tear for seawater pumps' key friction auxiliaries are carried out. According to the friction capability of all kinds of materials in common use under the condition of seawater lubrication, some good materials are selected, arranged in pairs and tested. Finally, from the examination result we choose a few of materials as the material of the piston/the hole, the slipper-pad/the slantingplate, and the principal axis/the axletree.5) A lot of integrated capability examinations for the seawater pump are carried out, and the gained examination results basically prove the sample seawater pump's design is right. In addition, after analyzing the wearing status on the surface of the seawater pump's key friction auxiliaries, the facts prove the pump has rather good capability of withstanding contaminant wearing. .
