A Study On Computer Testing Desk For Electric Switch

The Electric Point Machine (EPM) is an important one of railway electrical signal devices. Generally it is used to throw the point and indicate the point 's position. The portable Electric Point Machine Tester is a special instrument that is used to test the electric point machine in the field. It is the main application that is used to record the change of two parameters of the electric point machine, which is the throwing force and the electric machine's current when the electric point machine is throwing the point. With the used of the giant-railways which are used for high-speed trains, the EMP is switch from low-power to high-power and become series. But the old EMP tester does not fit to inspect the new EMP, it is essential to design a new EMP tester that is not only for testing vary series EMP but also controlled by computer.In this thesis, it is discussed particularly whole process of designing the EPM Tester. First, the EMP's structure and operating functions are introduced; then we analyze the parameters which effect the EMP working condition; Based on the requirement of the testing items we draw the plan on signal collection & communication and on applying force, completing the software which use for process and manage the testing data. Last, the testing data are analyzed to indicate the qualification of the tested EMP. The real-time process of tester is kept by the method called "time-interrupt"After using in practice, it is achieved that the tester's functions and precision which is required in design.
