It is a significant to establish and apply GIS platform in the Distribution Management System to improve the management of data graphics, the working productivity as well as the thrive ability for the enterprise in the market.Based on the investigate and analysis for the distribution network of KaiFeng Power Bureau company, this paper does researches on the Distribution Management System. It presents the design principles, choosing the equipment, the target and characteristics of system. It shows the detail functions of the application software as well. The development and implementation of this system are very important for enhancing the management of the KaiFeng distribution network, providing the perfect service, and elevating the level of information processing for the enterprise.
