Beijing Haidian Distribution Network Planning Taking Into Account The Effect Of Demand Side Management

In most part of the country network planning is made according to the rigid power demand. But with the implementation of DSM power demand becomes elastic to some extent and this has some effects on the network planning. In this paper we analyzed the effect and discussed how to dealing with it. A multi-stage network planning model was developed, taking DSM measure as one kind of method to meet the demand increase. And a series partition tuning optimization method was proposed to reduce computational load and model solving difficulty. Using the planning method proposed in this paper the electricity demand of Beijing Haidian district was forecasted and the network expansion plan was developed.
