| Improvement of automation of distribution station-from centralizationto distribution is discussed in this paper. Construction and function of typical distribution networks in use in developed areas are introduced .Controller area network construction, hardware and software design of field bus intelligent node and its behavior when disturbance occurs are described in detail .In contrast with traditional method such as SCADA and etc, more quality of power supply has been achieved by less fee and more efficiency supported by more advanced communication technology. At last, characteristic of this system is analyzed, proposition for improvement and study of next stage is given also.
