With the development of science and technology, the performance of automobile must be more and more perfect to meet humans' need. New technology and means are mostly used to heighten the products' quality under increasingly scorching competition. Virtual prototype technology syncretizes modeling , simulation and optimization etc. It can be used to shorten the time and reduce the cost of research and design.ADAMS ( Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical Systems) is a simulation software of mechanical system used most widely in the world. Based on the virtual prototype technology, the automobile can be regarded as a multi-body system that parts connect and move correspondingly each other. Using ADAMS/VIEW, the article build a whole vehicle model that contains body, suspension, steering-system, tires, and stabilize bar etc. Of course, the connection and correspondingly motion should be analysed thoroughly, and get accurate data as so as possible. Then we realized virtual experimentation accord with vehicle experiment standards. The diagram that we need on the experiment can be shown on the screen through measures, which we created. The results of simulation were compared with physical experiment to validate the veracity of established model. Factors that caused the differences were discussed. Further more, we marked the simulation result accord with standards. To improve the mark, we analysed suspension parameters, which affect vehicle's handling stability, and gave some measures to reach this goal.
