All kinds of large mechanical equipments are the key equipments for production. It has great significance to ensure those equipments run safely and steadily through failure diagnosis and monitor technology for improving economic benefits of the enterprise and the development of national economy.This article introduces the hardware flat of large mechanical equipment's failure diagnosis and monitor system, based on the analysis of the mechanical cause of failure of large mechanical equipment and the method of signal process. This system is composed of magnetic vibration transducer, current & voltage transducer, notebook PC, Mini DAT wireless data sending and receiving system based on Internet TCP/IP of Via Sat Inc., SCXI signals conditioning system of NI. This system combines wireless Internet technology of the Cisco Systems Corp. with National Instruments' extensive DAQ capabilities. Simultaneously, it is portable, free of running cable, high sample rate, and easy to make remote access, measurement and analysis. The software of the system is written by graphical programming language LabVIEW, and it can acquire, process, display, record, monitor, print and analyze the vibration data, it can also perform failure diagnosis.Having already been successfully applied to inspect and perform failure diagnosis of a ball mill's reducer of cement company, the system runs steadily, smoothly and efficiently.
