The problem of mechanical equipment's fault is the important link in the industrial production, at present artificial judgment is used as a majority of the mechanical failure judgment. Industrial production efficiency is not only affected, but also mechanical fault testing cannot be prompt, seriously and even stop production and casualties is leaded to. Therefore, designing a set of perfect machine state detection system is very important to the industrial development, not only whether the judgment of the mechanical failure can be accurate by the system, but it has the improvement for the real-time and the timeliness. So the loss caused by mechanical failure can be reduced to the minimum. This article mainly aims at the common mechanical failure's analysis and research, and based on virtual instrument platform a new type and general mechanical failure analysis system is designed. Hilbert-Huang transform method is applied in the system on the LabVIEW platform, and the vibration's testing data of the mechanical failure is used by time-frequency joint analysis. Furthermore the detailed analytical diagram is acquired.The main contents are as follows:1) Firstly with the harmonic which is generated by virtual oscilloscope based on LabVIEW the system can be tested and verified. According to it the correctness and reliability of the system can be found. And through a set of data acquisition system the actual data is collected, and the data is analyzed and processed, finally this system's implement is acquired, hereinto, the PCI-6251data acquisition boards and SC-7025bread plate designed by the NI company is used in the acquisition system mainly; in the part of the signal's preprocessing in this paper, the signal was maken by the design of the digital filter and wavelet de-noising apparatus for filter and denoising;2) In addition, in order to contrast the normal signal and the fault signal the accuracy of the signal's analysis is further improved, and the data's storage and read were designed, thus the reference graphics data is taken for the rotor dynamic balance fault.3) Finally, the vibration signal is analyzed by the design of HHT algorithm analysis system in this paper, and the common mechanical failure is judged. The practical and the universality of the system are reflected.The purpose of this paper is mainly the understanding and practical of the Hilbert Huang transform, not only this algorithm is improved, but the joint time-frequency analysis method in the latest research-HHT algorithm transform and virtual instrument software leader-LabVIEW is combined well. Based on high accuracy, timeliness and strong stability of the input signal, the data is processed and analyzed perfectly, and the negative influence is minimized. The best judgment of fault diagnosis is reached.In this paper, the HHT algorithm is acquired in LabVIEW well, and the consequence of the signal analysis is very well which could be able to obtain the desired waveform and data, so practical application in the future is ready.
