This thesis, based on the current indeed requirement of power system, researched that how to use the Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) to build the mathematic model and get the parameters that are fitted or very closed to the real power plant generator Excitation System and Power System Stabilizer (PSS).At first, we test the Excitation system and PSS in the power plant, so that we can get the waves and some data of the voltage and real power that we need. Then building the model on RTDS, doing the simulated testing, to get the mathematic model and parameters that are fitted or very closed to the real power plant generator Excitation System and PSS by contrasting the simulated waves and data of voltage and real power with the on site testing at last.This research has got the mathematic model and parameters of Yantan power plant Excited System and PSS by the real time simulating. We can easily get the mathematic model and parameters of the other power plants based on this way. So that it will provide the foundation for building the Excitation Database of the Guangxi power system and powerstabilized calculation in the future.
