Test Research On Digital Dynamic Simulation Of AVC Device Based On RTDS

AVC (Automatic Voltage Control) is one of the emerging issues. Taking into account the safe operation of power grid after installation put into operation, we use method of dynamic simulation to test the performance of the device and eliminate hidden dangers that may exist,which is very necessary.This article studies the main models of RTDS and the dynamic characteristics of RTDS,then establishs a digital dynamic simulation model of AVC device based on current typical power plant electic primary system and designs the model parameters to set and the composition of test system. Experimental results show that the dynamic model test platform based on RTDS of AVC device can assess the action characteristics on the one hand and can study the affect of inputing the device before and after, the correct action or not on system safety and stability the other hand.
