This paper, according to calculation and analysis, carried on a entire design of new planetary gear reducer with few tooth difference driven double cranks with method of virtual design and made an finite element analysis of the important parts.This paper briefed kinds, characteristics, technologic status quo and prosperity in the future of planetary gear reducer with few tooth difference, and analyzed and explained specifically innovations and advantages of the reducer in this paper. Degrees of freedom of the machine were analyzed, some important parameters were determined and intensity of gears was calculated and inspected. And then designs of parts and assembly of entire machine were finished, and process of design of important parts and assembly of entire machine was exhibited,. The kinetic analysis and dynamic analysis of virtual model machine were carried on, especially, inference of transmission gears with few tooth difference, which very easily produce inference, was inspected, accuracy of design was testified very conveniently and visually, therefore, physical tests which are expensive and need much time were avoided. Loads on all bearings can be calculated conveniently and swiftly, Characteristics of virtual design was totally manifested. Such as saving of time, saving of strength, saving of energy, and strong forecasting. Moreover, accuracy of outcome of virtual calculation can be testified by outcome of calculation gotten by building dynamic model and strictly and theoretically analyzing. Subsequently, intensity of important parts subject to loads was inspected through framework stress analysis in order to determine if them are capable of making demands of practices. Finally, how to produce practical engineering drawings was explained in order to make outcome of virtual design more practical.
