The structure of a new typeof the planetary reducerwith few teeth difference,which was proposed by Professor Xiao Nanping,was studied in this dissertation.The reducer combines the structural advantage of the NN typeof the planetary reducer with few teeth differenceand the cylinder gear reducer.It has a lot of merits,such as large transmission ratio,reliable in operation and compact structure and so on,therefore it has a wide application prospects.The further optimization designwas made after the experimental prototypedisassembled,which was previouslybuilt based on the principle of this reducer,and the reason of the failure of the experimental prototype’s experiment wasanalyzed carefully.And then,the dynamics simulation of this reducer and the finite element analysis of the key component of this reducer were made to meet the strength of the design requirements.The main research contents of this dissertation are as following:(1)This dissertation gave a detailed introduction on the operating principle and the structural features of thisplanetary reducer with few teeth difference.And according to the results of the disassembling of this experimental prototype,which was manufactured before,this dissertation madea mathematical optimization modelwith the minimum force of this planetary reducer’s turning arm bearingas the target function.And the MATLAB software based on the genetic algorithmwas used to optimize the geometrical parameter of this planetary reducer to meet the design requirement;(2)The theoretical mechanics methods and assumptionswere used to calculate all the forces of this planetary reducer.And the three-dimensional model of this planetary reducer established and assembled by the Solidworks softwarewere introduced into the ADAMS software to build the model of the virtual prototyping of the reducer.To further understand the characteristics such as the force of the gear,the motionand the dynamic characteristics of the model,the dynamic simulation analysisof this virtual prototypingwere madeby using the ADAMS software;(3)The finite element model of the box and the compound planet gear of this planetary reducerwere established,and the statics analysis and modal analysis of this finite element model were made by the software of ANSYS Workbench.The stress nephogram,displacement nephogram,inherent frequency and their corresponding vibration types were obtained by the simulation analysis,which verified the rationality of the design of this planet gearwith few teeth difference;(4)Another experimental prototype of this planet gearwith few teeth differencewasmanufactured to know more about all kinds of the performance of this planet gear,and the experiment study was carried out according to the correlationtest standard.The results of the experiment indicated that this experimental prototype could normally operate under the condition of no-load,full-load and the short-time overload,and the transmission efficiency couldachieve 83.46% under the rated torque,each performance index of this experimental prototype was conformed to thenationaland industry standards.
