The cement stabilized aggregate and the lime fly ash stabilized aggregate are two typical semi-rigid base course materials. The cement stabilized aggregate has the advantages of high carrying capacity, high early strength fine anti-water damage and fine anti-freezing damage. It is well connected with the bottom layer and convenient to construct. It also has the disadvantages of shrinkage and crack. The lime fly ash stabilized aggregate has the advantages of high long strength, fine anti-water damage and fine anti-freezing damage. In this base course material, a great deal of industrial waste -fly ash is used., so it has good economic benefit. It also has some disadvantages:(1)the construction is limited for its low early strength.(2)the layers may be bad connected for its surface slack.(3)its durability is affected by the brash capacity. So, what we need to do is to improve the anti-crack character of the cement stabilized aggregate and the early strength of lime fly ash stabilized aggregate. In this paper, based on the project of Xiangfan-Jing highway and a great amount of research, early strength of lime fly stabilized aggregate are studied. As for the lime fly ash stabilized aggregate, when affiliated with phosgypsum and cement, the early strength and other properties about pavement are improved greatly. The results indicate that it's effective method to improve the early strength of lime fly stabilized aggregate by affiliated this material with phosgypsum. and cement, but it's a economical method to improve the early strength of lime fly stabilized aggregate by affiliated this material with phosgypsum. From study on Semi-rigid base course, we know Semi-rigid base course is important. From above all, we go to study the effect of asphalt pavement by changing the thickness and modulus of semi-rigid base course, which.is very important actual meaning. Finite element method is employed to analyze to the effect of asphalt pavement with changing thickness and modulus of semi-rigid base course. Drawing a conclusion that properly increasing thickness of semi-rigid base course n thickness of bottom base course and modulus of bottom base course can increase the mechanics function of asphalt pavement, but when Semi-rigid base course attains the certain strength, it is not very obvious to increase the mechanics function by changing strength of semi-rigid base course. We can conclude that graded broken stone can resist cracksThe research will be helpful in improving the construction technical of highway and forwarding the development of highway in our country.
