The national park of China is famous for its abundant natural and cultural herirages. With the rapid development of tourism, a more excellent method is important to balance the relationship between conservation and usage in national parks. Remained cultural resources need more conservations in mountainous-type national parks, including temple-historial resources. The purpose in this dissertation is to make some discussions on it.The paper consists of three parts with six chapters:The first part is theoretical reasoning part including chapters from number one to number four. Chapter one introduces the defination and characters of mountainous type national park and the meaning of temple-historial culture. The following two chapters give an outline of influcing factors, conservation laws and theories for temple-historial culture; indicate the major problems in the developing construction. Chapter four emphasizes the planning methods on three aspects of cultural resource, landscape space and management system. The second part stands on the case study of planning for shaolin senic areas in Mt Song, including two chapters. Chapter five makes an introduction of the cultural resources in the planning area. Chapter six lists out the detailed applications of planning method which bases on above discussion. The last part is appendixe. It is the selected texts of Detailed Planning of shaolin senic area in Mt Song national park.
