An Intelligent Building is one equipped with the telecommunications infrastructure that enables it to continuously respond and adapt to changing conditions, allowing for a more efficient use of resources and increasing the comfort and security of its occupants. An Intelligent Building provides these benefits through automated control systems such as: heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning; fire safety; security; and energy/lighting management.The City Home 5th is a modern, comprehensive, intelligent office building. The tower will provide the clients with favorable working conditions which feature comfort, safety, convenience, high efficiency as well as reasonable price.The Building Management System (BMS) in this design adoption Honeywell Enterprise Building Integrator (EBI).The Honeywell EBI system that pulls together all core building systems and integrates information from many different enterprise subsystems; In this design Honeywell EBI possesses four automation systems, namely,1. Building Automation System, (BAS)2.Security Automation System, (SAS)3. Fire-fighting Automation System, (FAS)4. Parking Automation System, (PAS)The integration of these four systems with the mechanical and electrical sub-systems through the information network consisting of sensors .detectors, controllers, etc , Located through the building .afford the opportunity to monitor and control at theequipment and services.The BMS leads to energy conservation, and hence lowers the operation cost of equipment and enhances investment efficiency. The security sub-system provides function of the fire protection, burglar alarm, one ID/IC card for all management and payment, and accident protection.Integration is the "core" of the Intelligent Building. In intelligent building, new technology can be used to provide a healthier, more productive, and less energy-intensive work environment.
