High power nickel menial hydride battery have good applied foreground at HEV and electric tools,. Characteristic of charge and discharge at different conditions is technical key to improve high power nickel mental hydride battery , which has important theory senses and commercial values,, This paper analyze large charge terminative criterion , and decide temperalure increasing velocity at 0.3—0. 5℃/min as ending criterion,, Then 3C (240A) charge al diverse HOC, energy efficiency get to 95.64%, so nickel mental hydride battery can reach HEV requires., Through inner insert number method , we can simulate discharge curve which can inosculate actually measured numbers, but there are some warps in the ends We amend Peukert equation by 80Ah battery and 100Ah one, get n as 1.0 and k at 81.25 , 99.73,, So Peukert equation is expressed as 11=81.25 and 11=99. 73 battery resistance is counted at charge and discharge process, the resistance is large in the begin and the end, but small in the middle,, So we can charge or dischargeal high rates because the resistance is small at SOCO. 2-0.8 , this conclusion has some practical applied valuesSelected by resistance method , discharge capacity and characteristic curve method combined , cell in battery module has improved consistency Though 3C(240A)discharge .the largest voltage difference is less than twenty mV, and the temperature difference is only 1. 352℃. , so battery has good consistency ?Discharge capacity does not decline after two hundreds circles in character test Self-discharge rate is lower at normal or lower temperature , but at high temperature or high SOC , self-discharge rate is high., Battery has high self-discharge rate after charge end , and self-discharge rate is decreasing as time goes Battery current attain 1700A in the short -circuit experiment, but battery does not blow up-When layed aside at seventy temperature , battery does not blow up either ? therefore , nickel mental hydride battery is safe and credible , which can be used in EV...
