| Due to the complexity of auto panels die design and great dependence on designer's knowledge and experience, how to enhance the level of auto panels die intelligent design has been the emphasis in the auto panels die CAD field. First, in this thesis, Knowledge-Based Engineering technology is introduced into auto panels die CAD field. Based on the concept of KBE technology, the auto panels die CAD intelligent system can help designers in dealing with the experience and knowledge of die design systematically. It is also helpful for design thinking and can guide and appraise the design. Expert's experience and knowledge can be integrated in this system. Secondly, the domestic and abroad application and development of auto panels die CAD are discussed as well as KBE technology and its application feasibility in the die design field are studied in details. To simplify the complexity of die design, the whole die is separated into several modules according to their function for study. A system for the auto panels die CAD is established using Pro/Engineer development tool-Protoolkit package with C Language. An intelligent system of auto panels die CAD design is built up. In the same time, knowledge base, graphic instance base and standard parts base are developed. Finally, the developed system is verified via example. The result shows that the system runs well and the design efficiency is greatly enhanced. |
