Anti-skid Regulation (ASR) is a kind of automobile electronic equipment, which can control automobile driving wheels' skid to enhance the automobile driving performance and traffic safety. The paper concluded the ASR research history and its theoretic basement, provided ASR mathematic models, included: vehicle model, wheels model, transmission system model, brake system model and control logic model etc. "Research and development of ABS/ASR for HFC6820 light bus" is a challenging project. In fact the dissertation is a report of the project. In this dissertation a logic threshold controller based on the driving wheel skid rate is successfully designed for the HFC6820 light bus. Furthermore this paper studied the simulation figures of the bus driving on D, G and DK adhesive coefficients roads with and without ASR. The last part of the dissertation is the road testing research, the testing results validated the simulation figures and data. In the end it is definite that the comprehensive knowledge of driving dynamic characteristics of HFC6820 light bus by simulation and testing study provide strong theory base to the development of ASR.
