Most of the products that are used in the current automotive Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) products adopt the method of traditional threshold control logic. But this method is complexed in control logic, and the parameter selection should be depended on a great many of road tests. There are defects that the period is long for the ABS to be developed, and the cost is high. The development of today’s ABS control technology is analyzed in this paper. The automotive ABS electronic control systems were studied by using a new way which is control strategy that the traditional logic threshold control method is combined with intelligent fuzzy control method.The main research contents in this paper are as follows:1) Based on the control algorithm which is already existed and combined with the characteristics of logic threshold control algorithm and fuzzy control algorithm, a new control project is put forward for auto ABS electronic control system in this paper. It is a control strategy which is the integration of logic threshold and fuzzy control.2) The control algorithm is designed, and it belongs to the control strategy of auto ABS which is based on the combination of logic threshold control and fuzzy control.3) The hardware and software of the ABS system controller is designed and developed based on the new control strategy.4) The control algorithm of the new ABS controller is tested primarily in the in-the-loop of simulation test bed of auto ABS computer hardware., verified the effectiveness of the control strategy.A research using the control strategy which is a combination of threshold logic and fuzzy is done to study automotive ABS. This control strategy can integrate the characteristics of the two control algorithms, and improve the control precision and anti-jamming performance of automotive ABS. And research contents have a certain theoretical value and scientific importance.
