A Research On Test Installation For Automotive Glass Regulation Riser

Window glass on automotive door secures driving with enough visual angles; at the same time, Windowpane's adjustability and manipulative convenience is of great importance as function indexes for comfort and security, which is attached to glass-frame riser. Glass regulation riser offers convenience. However, it is more liable to malfunction owing to frequent operation, compared with other subsystem on an automobile. With reference to statistics attained from several domestic automobile manufacturers, during their aftersale service and spot check, the rate of malfunction of the glass regulation riser is among the top 20. At present, power window system has become a standard part manufactured in China including limousines, passenger cars, heavy trucks, and minibuses. Chinese automobile industry is growing at a breakneck speed. As a result, the need for power window system is increasing simultaneously. It is predictable that Chinese automobile manufacturers are attempting to improve the system in the very near future. Also, it is the case for the need for a corresponding test installation of glass regulation riser, which is currently substandard and will hopefully be ameliorated soon after. Unfortunately we are faced with a dilemma that imported test installation is costly though well applicable. An attempt is made in the thesis to testify a technical capacity for design and production of test installation for power window subsystem in a hope for not only technical support for factories but also didactical and laboratorial need. A noticeable difference exists between China and foreign technology for the automotive power window testing. Now the overseas research on test installation of power wind is advanced ahead of China and domestic companies have also started to use some test installation for functional tests including that on lifting and lowering. Now FAW technological center owns its durability test lab for the power window. The thesis is based upon a series of research and experiment.
