The front equipment processor system (FEP) takes in the position of a connecting link between the preceding and the following in control and management system. If the FEP has a poor performance, the system may have bottle-neck of data handling. Aiming at this, a scheme of system of improving the FEP's performance is realized.The thesis summarizes development of the SCADA and the FEP in the beginning, analyzes the existing problem in the FEP, expound the thesis's significance, and show briefly the thesis's arrangement.And then, via the function analyses of the FEP and the compare between operation systems, the thesis ensure QNX operation system, and summarize the useful protocols in the thesis.At then, the thesis introduces particularly QNX's speciality, and confirm the thesis feasibility in theory. And then, the thesis illuminates multiprocessing/multithread programming method in QNX.At the same time, the thesis confirms PC104 core hardware frame by the hardware requirement analysis of the FEP, and debase the price of the system in effect.In the last chapter, the thesis presents a scheme of handling multi-protocols by analyzing a few of protocols; by analysis of system function and process/thread's trait,the FEP soft frame is confirmed; through adopting OOP and multiprocessing/multithread programming method, the FEP is designed in detail, the FEP' real-time performance is improved,and the FEP'GUI effect is laid out. In the end, the thesis sets up a test environment for testing real-time performance between QNX and windows, validates the the thesis feasibility of system design scheme.
