In this thesis, 3-D finite element models of 9.00R20 all steel cord truck radial tire is successfully developed through the of MSC/Marc/Mentat program by using the Mooney-Rivlin material model, isotropy elastic material and the Rebar elements. In these models, the influences of the geometric nonlinearity, the incompressibility of rubber, the anisotropy of rubber-cord composites, the nonlinearity boundary conditions from the tire-pavement contact are all taken into counted.Firstly, deformation, distributions of stresses and strains, the status of bead-rim contact are systematically analyzed for the radial tire under aeration case. Secondly, tire's footprint on the ground, distribution of contact pressure, and influences of parameters, such as belt angle and load, on deformation, distributions of strains and stresses with different load case, are discussed, and then, corresponding curves are given.The FEA results of deformation, stresses and strains of radial tire for...
