| Fatigue durability of tire has a decisive influence on vehicle safety and transport economy.The use of radial tire is more complex and harsh than ordinary tire,requiring superior fatigue and durability.As a complex rubber product,the tire fatigue durability depends on many factors,and the current fatigue estimation model does not have a unified standard.The overall durability test method is mainly used to judge the fatigue property of tire,but the experimental cycle is long and expensive.In this paper,two kinds of 12.00R20 heavy duty radial radial tires were taken as the research object.The constitutive relation of the material was obtained by uniaxial tensile test.Based on the Abaqus finite element software,finite element model of tire under static inflatable and grounding conditions was established,the accuracy of finite element calculation was demonstrated,and the initial stress strain field for fatigue analysis was obtained.Based on the crack propagation method,via uniaxial tensile test machine and the self-built fatigue testing machine,corresponding rubber material tear test and dynamic fatigue experiments were carried out to obtain parameters needed by the fatigue analysis such as the damage tear energy,destruction of crack propagation rate and other fatigue parameters.In this paper,the stress-strain analysis step of the Abaqus ODB file was introduced into FE-SAFE software as the historical input condition of the cyclic load,and the fatigue life of the tire was calculated.It was found that the calculated results obtained by this method showed good agreement with the test result.Based on the calculated fatigue life of the whole tire,the influence of the tire structure parameters,including the angle of the cords,the angle of the nylon cord and the height of the backpack end of the carcass,on the fatigue and durability were studied.And the relationship between stress,strain,strain energy density maximum,difference and ratio and fatigue durability were investigated respectively,which provided the basis for structural design of tire.The research results of this paper have great practical value and guiding significance for the tire-production enterprises to improve their tire design technology and reduce the cost of development and after-sales service. |
