Special shaped R.C columns (usually L-shaped, T-shaped or Crisscross section) have been used widely in civil engineering field in recent years on account of their superiority. Along with the reformation of dwelling house's building, the special R.C columns have been used even broadly. While its design and calculation have many defaults, so all of these problems need to be solved. Therefore it is a necessity to develop special software to design and analyze this kind of structure. The purpose of this paper is to create model of constitutive relationship and to analyze the whole process of nonlinear finite element of the special shaped R.C columns.Based on the full understanding and studying of the constitutive relationship and peculiarity of the special shaped R.C columns, a constitutive relationship which can show the whole process of the nonlinear finite element of the special shaped R.C columns is selected .Based on the reasonable relation between stress and stain of steel and concrete ,the nonlinear analysis process for special -shaped R.C columns is carried out by the method of numerical analysis and the whole curve of relation between moment and curvature was gained.According to the model of relation between moment and curvature, it is deduced for the firm's matrix of special shaped R.C columns' bar cell which calculates the effect of the physics nonlinear and geometry nonlinear by the method of the actual firm. By using the firm matrix, we can analyze the whole nonlinear process for the special shaped R.C columns between the component and the frame. The result of using the program accord with the test. Accordingly, it is credible for the model and the calculated method on the paper.The sustentation fund from Hunan province's building project (research on the design analytical method of structural system of reinforced concrete special-shaped columns) is received in the process of the paper's study.
