Research On Virtual Test Field Of Vehicle Based On Multigen Creator And Vega Prime

Based on the virtual reality technology, this paper designs a realistic virtual environment(visual, auditory) by using computer technology. Users can use a certain way to interact with the virtual environment of the scene,resulting in a kind of true feelings and experiences similar to the virtual space. With the rapid development of the virtual reality technology, it is used more and more widely, the technology has been applied in the areas of military, the education, medical and other fields.The main purpose of this study is to explore the virtual test field and the performance of the car of virtual simulation by using virtual reality technology. By comparing modeling software and simulation software, this paper determines to use Multigen Creator 3D modeling software and Vega Prime real-time simulation drive software, and establishes the model of the automobile test field and realize the drive to roam.(1)This paper first analyses the characteristics of automobile test field at home and abroad and then has a comprehension analysis about the function, size and facilities of automobile test field. Analysis and design the basic structure of the virtual test field and typical road facilities.(2)The establishment of 3D model is the foundation of the virtual reality system, but also a key step in the application. Taking the virtual test field as the research object and establishing a series of 3D scene model including typical road, test facilities and vehicles and so on. Optimize the technology and method of 3D virtual scene modeling based on Creator.(3)When referring to the roaming simulation, using the visual editor of Vega Prime is to configure application document and to load virtual test environment and virtual model car. Locate the window and set the choice of perspective and introduce how to do in the collision detection in detail. Finally, it can achieve the real-time roaming in virtual environment.
