With the rapid development of the economic globalization, the market competition becomes fierce day by day. Developing stock management theory and optimizing scheduling method bring new influence to traditional enterprises with big logistics, which promote these enterprises to update their logistics system constantly. The Architecture & Metal Manufacturing Industry refers to companies offering building metal structure products; it is the enterprise which is charactered by complicated procedure control and heavy raw materials consumption. How to control the enterprise's stock effectively and how to manage the enterprise's huge supplies reasonably has become one of important problems that the enterprises must deal with. First of all, on the basis of analyzing various kinds of stock control strategy at present and optimizing scheduling method, the paper considered synthetically this trade's characteristics of multi-level, dynamic and association with other related enterprises'stock. A multistage stock model includes center warehouse, regional warehouse, temporary warehouse in building site and other warehouse of associated enterprises was set up with the goal of minimum cost. Secondly, based on analyzing inventory optimal scheduling inside the Architecture & Metal Manufacturing Industry and considering the optimization of associated enterprises'inventory, this paper went on researching on the optimization of above-mentioned two dispatch models separately, combining homework law on the form in Operation Research with the goal of minimum transport cost. Thirdly, during the system's whole design, this paper has done proper improvement to the traditional function model, message control elements are involved. An improved function model based on message control method was put forward, which was succeed in using it in the course of development of this project. Finally, based on the research above, the author studied and participated in developing the logistics management system of Architecture & Metal Manufacturing Industry, this system is one of components of a National "863"project " Development and Application of ASP Platform Faced Key City ". And the system makes satisfied application results.
