Aero engine is complicated product. It is required that aero engine must have high reliability and maintainability as well as high performance. Therefore, the reliability engineering of aero engine is much complicated than other mechanics. A big sum of some engines are used by a great number of customers home and abroad, including air force, navy and so on. It is necessary to analyze and research the reliability of some engine so as to provide evidence for further using of the engine and to research the maintenance mode and maintenance interval of the engine. This paper is sets out from the engineering effective demand. After understand the world Aeroengine reliability condition and deal with outfield reliability data condition ,decided the Aeroengine reliability data's analysis way and investigation way. First, analyze the present situation of reliability data collection in field and provide one alternative solution. Second, utilize the huge amount of field data to analyze the relevant reliability index of one type engine by data processing software jointly developed by author. The result of data processing of the one type engine provide the evidence for three suitable maintenance mode, i.e., hard time maintenance, on condition maintenance and comprehensive maintenance.
