Foreword: The harm of the yawp has known to all, the author was also personally on the scene in practice, and the yawp did considerable injury to the body. Live and working in the noise environment, the work efficiency is lowered lightly and obstinate disease seriously. The abhorrence of the yawp is the most deep emotional stirrings in practice, particularly the press room as most. Certainly, these yawps are not all caused by chain spread. However, did the work for the rice, as the graduate student of the chain spread, so lower the yawp of the chain spread is my first job. Theories preparation: The author commenced the article from the hazards that noise to the human body and environment, for lowering the chain spreads noise, have been done many theories studies, particularly, and the detailed and systematically analyzing for the noise source of the chain spread. The author analyzed the source of the noise from vibration and acoustics realms; know that the vibration is the source of the noise and three kinds of vibrations which can create the main noise respectively are chain link's jumpiness and Sprocket's axial and radial direction vibrations and Roller's radial deformation vibrations. Among them, the noise of the roller vibration or the sprocket vibration caused by meshing impact is the main noise of the chain spread. Broadband and high frequency vibrations are caused by sprocket and axis and roller's construction. As the sprocket and chain pitch larger, the meshing noise becomes sharp loudly. The secondly source of the noise is caused by the polygon effect in the chain spread; as meshing resonance of the spread construction, the level of the noise is significant to increase. Meshing impact between the chain and the sprocket causes the third noise. Through experiments, we know, regulate the spread system can lower the spread noise. However lowering the chain spreads noise is very difficult, and the meshing noise is impossible to elimination completely. Through experiment we know, meshing impact noise is the main of the roller chain's noise. Process to manufacture on a trial basis and experiment: From top then, we consider that the chain spread noise is reduced by improving meshing impact. So we checked many domestic and international related data, in addition to our experiences of the design of the chain spread. Based on this, I did the design. Change the roller's construction can reduce the noise of the meshing impact. As a result, this can reduce the chain noise and improve the work environment. The new designed low noise chain is equal with the normal roller chain in service performance, but obviously improvement in the noise lever. To research the performance of noise reduction of the low noise roller chain, we specially did the contrast noise experiments on an equal standard normal roller chain and low noise roller chain.,and then analyzed and evaluated to the experiment result.
