Ride comfort is a main performance target for automobiles. There are two important reasons why arouse automobiles vibration: one is random exciting when auto running on the road; another is vibration exciting when engine working. Automobile drive system can be considered as torsional vibration system consisted of many shafts collected quality and flexibility. The torsional vibration of automobile drive system will bring serious harmfulness, which will induce much noise from gear transmission device and couple with transverse vibration of whole vehicle, bent vibration of drive system and torsional vibration of drive axle hanged bracket each other and bringing complex structure vibration and noise inside vehicle, which will lead part damaged and ride comfort drop. As for off-road vehicles running on a soft road, the torsional vibration from drive system will still reduce attachment of driving wheels, thereby affects automobiles'pass. Especially, in order to increase vehicle's power performance and reduce fuel consumption, we adopted diesel engine replacing gas engine and strengthen engines'power performance through adding pressure and rotate speed and drop whole vehicle quality and so on. But diesel engine's working stability is less than gas engine, and in the meantime of strengthening power performance, the bent shaft torque and rotation speed will increase, so which will bring automobile drive system more serious torsional vibration exciting; In addition, the light weight of drive system's own will lead torsional vibration response amplitude's further increasing. This shows that the torsional vibration damper with good performance will not only reduce the vibration transferring to drive system, drop noise, increase ride conform but also protect drive system better than before. It is very effective that flexibility-damping rotation damper installed in clutch drive disc eliminate the main low-frequency torque of automobile drive system and reduce gear noise of gearbox even reducing device.
