This Paper combines with fund projects "the Design and Study of Dual-mass Flywheel Torsional Damper" from Changchun Yidong Clutch Co.,Ltd.,on the basis of company's first generation DMF products—DMF350,and plans to develop a second-generation dual-mass flywheel product—third-class non-linear torsional stiffness dual-mass flywheel-circumferential short straight spring(DMF-CSS),and analyse the elastic properties of DMF-CSS Torsional vibration damper. This Paper establish torsional vibration of the powertrain models under driving conditions and idle conditions for Yutong bus, then analyses the natural frequency and natural vibration modeling of the transmission system,Contrast the damping effect of the transmission system assemb with DMF-CSS to assemb with DMF-CS,the results show that the former is effective in reducing the low stage natural frequency of the system and can effectively improve the low-frequency fields of the powertrain's torsional vibration characteristics.Simulation and analysis of the powertrain by using ADAMS,the thesis optimize the main parameters—J10/J9,K and C which can affect the powertrain's torsional vibration, and then get the design parameters of the optimal value under driving conditions and idle conditions, the results of optimization show that DMF-CSS damping effect is better than DMF-CS.Finally,this paper preliminary design the assembly of DMF-CSS and analyse the major force components by using FEM methods.Through the study of thesis will not only meets the damping performance and cushioning performance requirements of the automotive, but also provides a theoretical basis for the design of multistage non-linear structure of the dual-mass flywheel.
