Bridge-type crab bucket ship unloader of electricity and differential drive of four reels are inheritting and development of the traditional bridge-type crab bucket ship unloader. This kind of ship unloader in this drive way has overcome a great deal of shortcomings of the traditional bridge-type crab bucket ship unloader. Compared with routine crab bucket ship unloader of differential type in machinery, it has removed gear decelerator which has heavy weight-self and is complicated in structure .So this kind of ship unloader have lowered costs and greatly reduced the volume and weight of the equipment. It is also the main developing direction of crab bucket ship unloader in the future. So, the research in electric drive control about this kind of bridge-type crab bucket ship unloader of electricity and differential drive have extensive actual using value.This paper regards bridge-type crab bucket ship unloader as the research object, regards the running contrail control of the crab bucket as the theme of studying. On the foundation of fully understands about mathematics formula of bridge-type crab bucket ship unloader of electricity and differential drive, I analysed the contrail curve of crab bucket ship unloader with the method of disassembly and made the layout to the running contrail of crab bucket. I also deduced the relationship between the variable and initialization among the mathematics formula theoretically and provided the implementing scheme in PLC control. In the hardware design of PLC , I adopted PROFIBUS-DP network and MPI network that based S7-400 of Siemens Company as the core, detailedly explained configuration process and communication protocol of two kinds of networks. On the software design of PLC , according to the software platform of STEP7 ,1 adopt the structural-programming method to design program. While basing on mathematics formula , I also joined procedure of sway controlling scheme,which raise drive and control performance of crab bucket. The design in WinCC which is man-machine interface mainly, have finished the functions , such as parameter setting , picture showing, history log, report forms typing, alarm ,etc.This thesis has offered the design scheme of electricity and drive for the research of bridge-type crab bucket ship unloader of electricity and differential drive. It is a very useful reference to bridge-type crab bucket ship unloader of electricity and differential drive in actually use in the future.
