Electric Power Line Inspection System Based On GPS

Patrolling and checking of electric power line is a basic work assuring the security of transmission and transformer electricity facilities and minimum fault rate of its line and improving power supply confidence ratio. Along with the improvement of informatization level of electric power trade in recent years , how to take advantage of informatization to strength patrolling and checking of electric power line is one of the most important problems that production and computer workers of electric power enterprise must study and solve. According to actual requirements and characteristics of line patrol, the paper brings forward patrolling and checking system of electric power line based on GPS, simultaneously studies its system model, patrolling model, data model and related key technologies.The paper' s emphasis is to construct the model of patrolling and checking system of power line based on GPS and to abstract its commonness according to the system features in order to achieve better flexibility and expansibility. Adopting UML technology completely is a complex procedure, but part of UML can easily be used to construct better system in fewer time.Firstly, the paper establishes the patrolling and checking model based on GPS, including integral system model based on UML. MIS modelbased on PDA, patrolling model based on GPS, data model of flaw management.Secondly, the paper specifies the different requires of this system considering the integrate model based on UML. Then constructs the model of patrolling and checking system thoroughly and carefully to form the complete descriptions and develop its actual appliance system. The paper studies principle of GPS and DGPS, discusses GPS data difference dealing methods (position difference, pseudo-range difference and carrier wave phase difference) and dealing techniques (real time difference dealing and afterwards difference dealing) and adopts pseudo-range difference and afterwards dealing to improve the precision of GPS location data. The paper adopts expert system to carry out the automatic generating of plan of eliminating the defects. Namely, the paper considers the integrate influencing factor about plan of eliminating the defects, establishes flaw knowledge base, applies arrangement reasoning to form reasoning mechanism of plan of eliminating the defects, utilizes information of knowledge base to reason, and consequently decreases workload to a great extent.In the end, the paper analyzes its applying example about this patrolling and checking system of electric power line based on GPS, and forecasts its later development.
