Warm Air Heating By Gas And Research On Heat Transfer Of Gas-fired Warm Air Heater

With the quick economical development of our country, improvement of people's living standard, ajustment of energy structure, the reformation of housing system and heating system, the execution of Xiqidongsong Project and E'qinanjin Project, natural gas as a high efficient and clean energy is widely used. Heating by gas has been a flourish heating method. Warm air heating by gas is an important matter of heating by gas. It is convenient, clean, easily controlled, and saves electricity, especially used in public buildings, villas and workshops in factories for lacking of concentrated heating system or for needing interval heating. Gas-fired warm air heater is the main equipment of warm air heating .The numerical simulation of the flow field of gas-fired warm air heater is taken in the paper. It is a part of the project of interval heating system by gas in cold area, which is imbursed by Science and Technology department of Heilongjiang Province.First the structure, principle and types of gas-fired warm air heater are introduced in the paper, then the type of the gas-fired warm air heater is discussed, and the computer program to calculate some properties of the gas-fired warm air heater is given. The numerical simulation method of gas-fired warm air heater paper is also discussed, and control equations, turbulent models, radiation models, method of grid generation, dispersing method of control equations, SIMPLE algorithm are introduced detailedly. Basing on these, the three dimension numerical simulation of the gas-fired warm air heater is taken, three cases with different heat transfer pipes are calculated and the simulation result of the conveying heat and mass process in the gas-fired warm air heater's flow field is got, and analysis to it is given.
