In this thesis, STEP—Standard for the Exchange of Product Model Data in aerocraft concurrent engineering and the integration technology of heterogeneous system based on STEP in Internet are mainly studied.First of all, the development of concurrent engineering at home and abroad is introduced, and the development history of product data exchange standard is reviewed.Secondly, the architecture, components, consistency test suites and the implementation methods of STEP are introduced in great detail. The STEP data access method in Internet environment is discussed and the integration of XML and STEP is recommended.Thirdly, the key technology of STEP—object-oriented EXPRESS language is described. The data type and information model of EXPRESS are analyzed and preliminary research on SDAI, early binding and late binding are given.Moreover, the application of STEP in aerocraft design is fully discussed. Through an analysis of information model of the aerocraft, the application protocol and the DD(data dictionary) is set up which accords with STEP standard. According to the grammar and rule of the neutral file, the neutral file is written. The leading processors and rearmounted processors are developed by the binding of C ++ and EXPRESS. In order to realize the integration of heterogeneous systems under the network environment, the data exchange platform is constructed.
