Along with economical development, expansion of the city scale and constant improvement of the modernized degree, the underground pipe network in the city is huger and huger, intensive, and its kind is more and more various. To the fast degelepment of the underground pipe network in the city, the management of the underground pipelines in the city seems to lag behind and can not meet the grow demand of business of pipe nerwork, and restrain the development of the city in a very great degree. Therefore, a systhesis menament system of the underground pipelines in the city is need to set up, which applies technology of geography information system (GIS), severs for the scientific management, palnning and design as well as aid decision of the underground pipelines in the city, and tries to realize the informationization of the management of the underground pipelines. Aiming at the current menemant situation of the underground pipelines in the city, this article has probed into a kind of new systhesive management mode of underground pipelines of the city and proposed a technological solution for the mode. The content that this article studies is divided into the following three parts mainly: ①by analysising current menemant situation of the underground pipelines in the city, such as "manifold management question", "lack of data of pipelines"and so on, this article has proposed a kind of new systhesive management mode——"2+N", which basis on the centralized pipeline GIS (spatial database), adopts the technology of multi-databases, sets up the database system of distributed multi-spatial databases and realizes the sharing and management of the distributed and isomerism specialized data.of pipelines on the basis of centralized management of the pipeline data. ②this article has introduced development of GIS technology and the component GIS in detail, probed into a technological solution for the realization of the systhesive management mode, and put forword the system goal, system structure, procedure of the data, network structure and main content of the systhesis management information system of underground pipelines in the city. ③by carrying on the function expanding to the designed system, this article has proposed to make use of genetic algorithm to realize pipeline's route selection automatically and aided designing for the first time. It also has put forword for the first time to utilize GIS technology, survey technology of underground pipes as well as GPS technology to realize the automatic monitoring and abtain the GIS data of the pipeline automatically while using trenchness technology. By the research of this article, combining the analysis of various kinds of management method of pipelines, science in theory and dependability on practice both indicate that the GIS technology has immense advantages and widest application foreground when using to manage the underground pipelines, and the technological solution that this article puts forward has greater application prospects .
