Screw pump drived by submersible motor is rodless oil pumping which can achieve high delivery lift and low delivery capacity. It can attain the purpose of low cost and high efficiency. Submersible motor under several thousand meters of the oil well is the power machine of submersible pump and drives submersible pump to draw out crude oil. The special work environment determines that submersible motor possesses special structure. Submersible motor is a vertical three-phase induction motor. It adopts lathy structure of subsection of stator and rotor: each subsection of stator combines with non-magnetic substance and each subsection of rotor combines with rotor bearing. There is full of appropriative lubricating oil between stator and rotor. This paper researches on the influence of the submersible motor characteristic which is subsection of stator and rotor and filled with the lubricant upon motor function according to its special structure. Correctional formula is derived from studying and analyzing experiment data which experiment gains to get the change rule of terminal impedance with an increase in the quantity of rotor subsection; Simple method of mechanical loss is gained by a combination of basic theory of hydrodynamics and traditional experiential calculation formula of solid bearing shoe,thrust running and rotor bearing; Simpson arithmetic and layered arithmetic etc. are used in part design calculation of submersible motor that improves the design method of this kind of motor. Submersible motor CAD software based on Windows system is developed in this paper. This software part integrates motor design computing programs, simulation program and other functions including file operating, figure function and so on into a whole motor CAD software. It is a complete CAD software. Contrasting experiment data and design calculation results show that the method and program developed in this paper are correct and feasible and convenient in use as well. The research work in this paper is very important to improve the design method of this kind of motor.
