The paper derives from a practical application's subject—Development of a set of pressure testing system that can be supervised .The pressure testing system is made for a war industry enterprise which can complete the real time pressure supervising of an airtight space. This pressure testing system is composed by SIEMENS S7-200 PLC and IPC. The function of PLC in the system is different from the IPC's. In this pressure testing system, the function of the PLC is completing the movement of the hydraulic pressure system and collection of the real time pressure value. The function of the IPC is supervising the local equipment by means of communicating with PLC through the serials port.At first the papers introduce the SCADA system which is developed rapidly now the days. The development of the SCADA system is an important orientation of the modern industrial control. The SCADA system is a new conception of industrial control which composed by a lot of parts, for example, real time information acquisition, communication channel, supervise software, hardware, communication network and etc. The papers introduce the fundamental factors of a pressure SCADA system. These factors include the following aspects: hydraulic pressure system designing, PLC's control program designing, serial port communication program design, supervise software designing and realtime database designing.The papers derived from a practical application's subject introduce the basic factors of a SCADA system, and in some way there is a certain theory meaning and reference value, especially for the staff whose work is industrial controlling.
