Mass Customization is one of the most popular production modes in the field of manufacturing. It has well solved the problem which the past production mode had faced. Not only do Mass Customization could satisfy the customer's personal need, but also the production cost could be decreased and the delivery time be cut which could enhance the company's competence. Product Configuration is one of the key technologies for implement the Mass Customization. It is always named the impetus of Mass Customization. Therefore, it's essential important to pay much more attention to the field of the theory and method of Product Configuration which based on Mass Customization.This dissertation intends to develop the system for product information management and configuration design. Based on the research on product information management and the actuality of Mass Customization and its key technologies, the system for transformer information management and configuration design have been studied and developed.The main assignments are:Deep research on product structure management, product structure component management and object version management in the process of product information management, develop the system for transformer information management; analyze the specialty of design for product module based on theory of modularization and make clear of modularization for transformer; establish the modularize oriented product configuration model, carry out the restrict relations of collision, interchange, combination and their character; establish the relation matrix between configuration modules and deal with the problem of relation exclusive checking and multi-grade selection for configuration; implement the function of basic type , configuration module, product component management base on database which are propitious to the configuration design system.Worked out by the procedure, debugs and test repeatedly, it has verified that this procedure has succeeded in realizing above-mentioned functions, which proves the correctness and feasibility of this new method.
