Home Information Center Based On BACnet And The Integration Of X-10 System

Smart house is a revolution of human residence.In recent years,especially in China ,automatic&information technology is coming into house from the intelligent building.Modern home is purchasing a perfect aim that was multi-information, safety, energysaving, comfortable, convenient living surroundings with house Intelligentized. However, the realization of intelligent home must touch the integration of many control systems.In these years, nearlly every producter adopts different protocol is the biggest obstacle that counteract the development of Intelligentized house. Now ,BACnet solve this problem,providing inter-operating method in automatic control system of buildings is the ultimategoal of BACnet. Every productor can research&develop device and interface which used in intelligent buildings according to this protocol, then the device of different productor can switch data and information by following this protocol. With the amelioration of technology and the drop of cost, the technology of carrier wave with electric power grows rapidly. the technology of carrier wave with electric power adopt X-10 protocal to realize the information switching on electric wire.it is convient and cheap to realize the intelligent control of home appliance and light ,so in our system we also adop X-10 as the protocol that control home appliance and light in HIC(Home Information Center). At first place, the thesis simply introduces the general situation and development trend of intelligent home, the frame and character of BACnet protocol,and describes the principle and advantages of X-10 protocal in detail.Moreover, based on these theory ,this thesis give the aim of our project:developing an home information center and integrating the X-10 system into HIC. Furthermore, it analyse, design, code the X-10 soft gateway by using the soft engineering theory, in specialty, at the phase of test it uses the technology of embed Web CGI program. This project is developed in Linux sourroudings used C language, so the thesis simply introduces what is the embed system, how to programe in Linux and the tools and other skills related to the project. At last it summarizes the system we develop and give some advice and suggestion on researching orieantion and content of system..
