The paper analyzes the limitations of serial gas turbines model, take heavy-dutysingle-shaft gas turbines as prototype, with the intensive analyzes and profound of theprinciples and characteristic of the object, using the modular modeling method proposethe dynamic model of gas turbines. With respect to the purposes and key points ofestablishing model, the model is simplified, and with using the theoretical modelingmethod an all-purpose dynamic model of heavy-duty single-shaft gas turbines isfounded.The simulation program is written with STAR-90 language, under this basis,simulation experiments are conducted. According to the results of simulation, thedynamic characteristics are studied. The results show that the principles of gas turbinescorrectly reflect the dynamic characteristic of gas turbines. The model provides a usefuland reliable tool for research, development of gas turbines and it also enriches anddevelops the modeling technology and simulation method of thermodynamic system.
