With the development of social economy, the instruction of the urban drainage pipe networks system which is one of municipal facilities is always built frequently, the management of the urban drainage pipe networks also need enhancing. Presently, so it is difficult to suffice the modern needing of the municipal management by conventional handcraft management method, therefore ,we need to build up a modern GIS information management system, which can meet with the needs of administration department,design department and building department. Nowadays, the research of the drainage pipe networks GIS information management system in our country is on the preliminary phase of spatial inquiry,data browse,statistics analysis,simple spatial analysis etc. Enhancing the function of the drainage pipe networks GIS information management system and empoldering the hydrodynamic model and other drainage speciality model is the main development trend of the domestic drainage pipe networks GIS information management system, to enhance the spatial analysis abilility. The thesis uses the qinglong farmer demonstration district of ChanZhou's graphic data and property data as process object, property database and spatial database are established in the platform of the Arc View GIS 3.2 produced by ESRI and the design of system interface. We fulfilled the following functions: data collection,data import,data store,data compile, in time updating and data output ,the connection of spatial data and property data,database management,SQL limit condition inquire,layer control display,statistics,summarize analysis and buffer analysis etc. The thesis discuss primarily how to build the hydrodynamic model,surface runoff,rainfall dependent inflow &infiltration and sewage simulation and the calibration and the validate of the hydrodynamic model on the drainage pipe networks GIS database.
