In this paper, considering the characters of Wujiang River watershed and Wujiang River cascaded hydropower stations, taking four reservoirs as researched objects: Hongjiadu, Dongfeng, Suofengying and Wujiangdu of W u j i a n g h y d r o p o w e r d e v e l o p m e n t c o r p o r a t i o n L t d . , which have the ability of up daily regulating, and taking maximal profit of Wujiang c o r p o r a t i o n L t d . a s optimal principle, maximal cascaded energy output model and maximal cascaded energy storage model were established to research and discuss the short-term optimal dispatching rule of Wujiang River cascaded hydropower stations, and reliable and applied software system was developed, which was expect to direct practical function and advance the integrate of optimal theory and produce practicality. The essential research contents and results were as follows:(1) Considering the character of Wujiang River cascaded hydropower stations, maximal cascaded energy output model and maximal cascaded energy storage was established.(2) When research the maximal cascaded energy output model, POA arithmetic was applied to research single reservoir optimization first, then two iterative computering method DPSA and LSSDC were applied to calculate the cascaded optimization.The short-term optimal rule of Wujiang River cascaded hydropower stations with object of maximal cascaded energy was found by the detailed analyses of example calculation.(3) Dynamic search arithmetic was applied to research maximal cascaded energy storage model, the unique optimal dispatching rule of Wujiang River was found, by the theoretics illation and detailed analyses of example calculation.(4) The sensitivity of scheme was analysed, then human-computer arithmetic brought forward, which have the function of human-computer dialogize, and accord with practice.(5) The short-term optimal dispatching software system was ecploited of Wujiang River cascaded hydropower stations, which have the characteristic of practicality, reliability, stability, then main function of system were introduced.
