The appearance of DSP and the mentions of accurate asynchronous motor's model and all kinds of advanced controlling strategy accelerate the development of the motor control. This paper mainly introduces a vector control system of AC motor based on DSP.AS one of the advanced control strategies, the field oriented control (FOC) is like this: By transforming the model of AC motor to DC motor, the stator current is decomposed into two DC parts which are orientated according to the rotor magnetic field and controlled independently. In this way, it controls the asynchronous motor like synchronous motor.Using the digital signal processor (DSP), TMS 320LF2407 of TI, which is special for motor control, we develop a suit of frequency conversion timing system based on the vector control. In this paper, the new-style PWM modulation manner -SVPWM is adopted and the utilizing efficiency of the energy is enhanced. The primary tasks are as follows:(1) The principle of FOC is discussed thoroughly via the coordinate transformation beginning with the mathematics model of the motor;the basic theory of Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) is described and the achieving means of the SVPWM using DSP is given;(2) The controlling scheme suit for the request of this system is confirmed after comparing the different modulation modes;(3) The hardware circuit of the controlling system is designed including the main circuit and the power circuit, etc;(4) The software flow and the child modules of the vector control system based on DSP are also presented;(5) The experiment conclusions are come out through the testing and the research...
